Brave Boundaries Workshop
Discover the Strength in Trusting Yourself!
Are you ready to honor your needs, say “NO” with confidence, and embrace the power of your boundaries? At Soul Vision Healing Center, we understand the courage it takes to step into your truth, listen to your body, and practice saying “NO” in real-life situations.
Brave Boundaries
Are you ready to explore the power of boundaries and the healing potential of mindful touch?
What Happens in the Workshop?
Relaxation Activities to ease into the space and embrace your awkward.
Communication Exercises to build confidence and clarity around expressing your needs. Mindfulness exercises help you tune into your body’s wisdom and prepare you for connection at your own pace. This includes exercises inspired by the work of Jean Franzblau, Dr. Betty Martin, UCLA Mindful, and other experts and community leaders.
Celebration of boundaries - Whether it’s a “YES” or a “NO,” we honor and validate your choices. We even teach you how to respond with, “Thank you for taking care of yourself.”
Empowerment through experience - Guided activities allow you to practice setting and receiving boundaries in small groups or one-on-one. There is no obligation or expectations, and you are free to participate as little or as much as you’d like.
Why should I attend?
This workshop is for anyone seeking:
Greater confidence in expressing and honoring the boundaries of yourself and others
Tools to honor your needs without guilt
A deeper sense of belonging, playfulness, and self-awareness
Support in working through fear or discomfort in setting boundaries
What is the setting and the vibe?
Held in a comfortable, cozy space with pillows and soft places to sit. This is a G-rated, platonic event. Clothes stay on at all times (at minimum of shorts and a tank top).
All must arrive and remain sober throughout the event. You may find yourself getting a natural high on oxytocin - often called the "hug hormone."
Please freshen up before arriving and avoid scented products and perfume/cologne. Bring anything you need to get cozy! Wear comfortable clothing like pajamas or sweats.
Do I have to participate in all the activities?
Nope! No touch is required. You NEVER have to do anything you are not comfortable with. All exercises are up to you: there will be options, and you decide how and if you would like to participate. Your “no” will be celebrated as a way you are taking care of yourself.
Please Note: the doors will close 15 minutes after the start time. This ensures that everyone will be on the same page with the event guidelines. Please allow yourself extra travel time so that you can arrive on time.
