What Is Brave Boundaries?
Created by CJ and Jules, Brave Boundaries is an interactive workshop designed to help you:
Express your needs with clarity and courage
Practice saying “YES” and “NO” in real-life scenarios
Respect others’ boundaries with empowered communication and practice This unique approach prioritizes consent and connection, creating a transformative experience for all participants. No touch is required, and participation in the activities is always up to you.
What You’ll Experience
Somatic Awareness
Feel how your body reacts when saying “YES” or “NO” through grounding exercises.
Relaxation Activities
Ease into the space with mindfulness exercises inspired by experts like Jean Franzblau, Dr. Betty Martin, and others.
Empowered Communication
Learn to confidently set boundaries and receive them graciously.
Celebrating Boundaries
Honor every “YES” and “NO” by learning to respond with gratitude: “Thank you for taking care of yourself.”
Gentle Guidance
Engage in playful, low-stakes activities to find your voice and practice making requests.
Empowerment Through Practice
Guided activities in small groups or one-on-one allow you to set and receive boundaries with no pressure to participate beyond your comfort level.

Meet Your Facilitators
CJ (she/her)
CJ (she/her) is a compassionate health educator with over a decade of experience. She earned her Master of Public Health degree from the University of Southern California Keck School of Medicine. CJ specializes in mind-body workshops and provides support for chronic illness, stress, and burnout. Jules (she/her)
Jules is a licensed Marriage and Family Therapist and a seasoned spiritual practitioner with over 35 years of experience. Her journey into Shamanism began in 2013, deepening her belief in the power of embodied experiences for profound healing. Jules combines her expertise in therapy with spiritual guidance to help individuals overcome limiting patterns and embrace their full potential.
